Tiger Shroff to essay a father to a little girl in Baaghi 2

The buzz about the upcoming film Baaghi 2 is immense! The film stars Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani in the lead. Fans are eager to see Disha and Tiger’s striking chemistry on the big screen. The actors who are rumoured to be a couple, have previously worked together in a music video titled Befikra. The prequel film Baaghi was a hit, it starred Tiger and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead. Hence, there is a lot of anticipation about the upcoming film.

From the first look and the posters, the movie is high on action and it is touted to be an expensive action film. Now, the latest update regarding the film claims that Tiger Shroff will be seen essaying the role of a father to a seven-year-old girl. At this age and stage of career, not many actors would take up such a role but since the role demanded it, Tiger rightly adhered. Varun Dhawan also played a father in Badlapur. Tiger’s character is an NRI and he has an affair in the past and a child of which he is unaware of. Reports also claim that the producer wanted Salman Khan to play the lead but his unavailability got Tiger on board who was the next choice.

About his role, Tiger Shroff said in a statement, “Without giving away my role, I’d like to say I play a character in Baaghi 2 that I’ve never played before. There is no fun in doing the same thing again and again.”

Tiger and Disha announced the wrap of the first shooting schedule with a pool picture which apparently went viral. Major chunks of shooting are done and a few parts are still left. Baaghi 2 is directed by Ahmad Khan and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala in association with Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film is set to be released on 27 April, 2018!
