Some personalities are immortal; they continue to live with his even if soul has left their body. Legendary actor-singer Kishore Kumar is one of such personality, who is immortally living with us with his noteworthy contribution in the Hindi cinema. And here we pay tribute to him on the auspicious occasion of his 85th birth anniversary!

Born on 4th August 1929 in Madhya Padesh, Kishore Kumar voiced the most popular and memorable songs like "Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas", "Chukar Mere Mann Ko", "Pag Ghunghroo Bandh", "Khaike Paan Banaras Wala" and many others. He has won eight Filmfare Awards in the Best Male Playback Singer's category.

Today celebrating Kishore Da's birthday the search giant Google has done something unique by placing his image on its doodle. This classic doodle is designed with essential detailing; it has four symbols that represent four elements of Kishore Da's multifaceted personality at its border. It has got a happy and sad mask representing him as an actor, while a video camera suggesting him as a director. At the beneath there's a script and music symbol stating his invaluable contribution as a script writer and singer, respectively.
