Updates on Raazi: The crew will be heading to Kashmir after wrapping Punjab schedule!

Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film Raazi is making news and all for the right reasons. It is very rare that an A list actress makes a bold move to transform into a de-glam role which has more critical gravitate. In the recent time, she was trending on the internet as Alia’s Desi look from the Raazi got leaked, while the crew was shooting in various location of Punjab! And now, they will soon wrap up the schedule in Punjab, the crew will be shooting next schedule in Kashmir and Alia Bhatt just shared an adorable picture with director Meghna Gulzar and co-actor Vicky Kaushal on Instagram!

The shooting of Raazi have also gone through resistance and turbulence as shooting scheduled in Patiala, Punjab was for a time being plagued by the massive protest for Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s arrest. But the shooting schedule resumed and finished as planned!

About the film, it is based on the book Calling Sehmat by Harinder S Sikka and Alia’s character has layers and she essays a Kashmiri spy in the movie whereas Vicky Kaushal plays a Pakistani Army Officer and, Alia essays his wife who turns out to be an Indian Spy. And to perfect the role, both the leading actors took training workshop to work on their accent and mannerisms for the Kashmiri role. As confirmed by producer Karan Johar, Raazi will be releasing on 11th May 2018.
