Varun Dhawan: While shooting for October, I understood the meaning of love!
October is Varun’s first out and out unconventional love story and it will hit the theatres next Friday.

Actor Varun Dhawan is just 6 years old in the industry but has done almost all the genre of movies. After doing dance, rom-coms and action flicks, the 30-years-old actor says that he understood the meaning of true love while shooting for his upcoming film, October . October is Varun’s first collaboration with Shoojit Sircar and while talking with a leading daily, the actor says he got to learn a lot from the director.
Varun said, “Shoojitda is a fascinating person, and this film is not a cliché love story. It shows you what the definition of true love is. It’s a much misused term today and used very poorly by people, including myself. While shooting, I understood the meaning of love and it hit me so strongly.”
He continued saying, “As a kid when I used to ask mom what is love, she’d explain it to me in the purest way but as we grow, it becomes so adulterated, and you wonder how the same word can have so many different meanings. So, October beautifully explains it to you.”
The film also marks the debut of young Banita Sandhu and the makers feel that she is the one who has worked hardest for the film.
The unconventional love story of Dan (Varun) and Shiuli (Banita) will unfold in theatres on 13th April 2018.
