As per the sources, Bhagnani had recreated Karachi airport at Birmingham airport for ' Welcome 2 Karachi ' shoot. He had the permission to shoot at the airport for three days in a section which was specially condoned for them with a separate entry and exit. Initially, the team kicked off the shoot but then the local transporter which he had hired fled away with three truckloads of clothes, props and light.

With the help of Birmingham Police, Bhagnani has traced the crooks but he is yet to recover some of his valuable stuff. Also, he has lost that three days time which Birmingham Airport officials had granted him for the shoots. Now, he and his team are looking out for a place to recreate the airport once again in London.
