The Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Saleem starrer ‘Dil Juunglee’ has now been postponed to 9th March!
As ‘Aiyaary’ has grabbed the 16th February slot, Taapsee Pannu’s ‘Dil Juunglee’ will now come out on 09th March.
Soon after ‘Padmaavat’ announced its new release date, a stampede-like situation created in the entire film industry. Though the magnum opus released last month, it has created an adverse effect on the upcoming films. One such film is Dil Juunglee. The Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Saleem starrer DJ was initially supposed to release on 16th February but as Manoj Bajpayee’s Aiyaary grabbed that spot, Dil Juunglee has now been postponed for the next month. Aiyaary was initially slated to release on 25th January but to avert the clash with Padmaavat and then Pad Man, the makers chose 16th February, which left Dil Junglee with no option than to postpone their film. The quirky comedy will now hit the theatres on 09th March 2019.
Taapsee shared the news on Twitter, captioning, “So a little more wait and we shall be there :) #DilJuunglee on 9th March 2018 now!”
The comedy flick is presented by Pooja Entertainment and Dinesh Jain. The Vashu Bhagnani’s film is produced by Deepshika Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, Mudit Jain and Mayank Jain. The film also stars Abhilash Thapliyal, Nidhi Singh and Sristi Srivastava.
Though the film has been postponed and has averted the big clash with Aiyaary, it will now be pitted against 4 other films. 09th March will not have a solo release, apart from Taapsee’s film, movies like Daas Dev, Hate Story 4, 3 Storeys and Baa Baa Black Sheep are also coming out on the same day.
