Vicky Kaushal to play the male lead in Kangana Ranaut’s nemesis?

For the past 2 years, Kangana Ranaut has stuck in just 2 major things, one being her controversy with Hrithik Roshan and the other is her film, ‘ Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi ’. But it looks like she is done with both. As the controversy around many of her matters has cooled down now, she is about to wrap the period film as well and will soon start an untitled project, where she will be seen in a negative role. Yes, that’s right. Kangana, who has done a helluva variety of movies, is all set to do a challenging role and it is reported that talented Vicky Kaushal has been finalized to play the male lead in her nemesis. It was Kangana who suggested Vicky’s name for the role.

In a bid to keep the suspense around the thriller intact, insiders, we hear, are keeping their lips sealed about the storyline. However, a source reveals, "Kangana plays a dark character. Vicky slips into the part of her nemesis. He instantly fell for his role when he read the script. The makers wanted someone who could give a tough fight to Kangana's character, and Vicky has showcased sufficient range to provide the same."

Earlier a source revealed that the actress is very excited about her next project after Manikarnika. Interestingly, it’s not a woman-centric film which Kangana is known to do but a whodunit mystery thriller which will be helmed by a newbie director. The as-yet-untitled movie will also have a mainstream top hero opposite her. The script has been finalized and the casting for the film has already begun.
