Vivek Oberoi to invest Rs. 400 crore in development of a themed resort and township in Gujarat

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi is a partner of Raghuleela Infrastructure and reportedly he will be investing Rs.200 crore for the development of township and a themed resort in Gujarat. The further buzz revealed that Raghuleela Infrastructure has planned to double the investment to Rs. 400 crore post the announcement of new tourism policy by Gujarat government.

Vivek Oberoi also met the Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel and Tourism Minister Saurabh Patel. The actor stated that this new tourism policy by the Gujarat government had made them to more confident about investing more. No other state has such a favourable tourism policy, said Oberoi as a businessman.

The firm aims at developing the 'Royal Beach City - The Goa' resort and township which is on Vataman-Dholka highway near Ganeshpura village. Spread over 100 acres, the project offers 25 recreational activities. One can enjoy the feeling of being on Goa's seashore with an artificial beach along with the artificial waves and a golf course. This will start in some years and the club house is expected to be operational I one year.
