Superstar Akshay Kumar 's upcoming film Pad Man is going to be unique in many ways. Not just it talks about the so-called taboo topic of menstruation and how women living in rural parts of the country deal with, it also shows that how a progressive man's thinking can make a difference in many women's lives. After showing the trailer and various songs of the film, the makers have now done another unique thing. They have just released a video which shows the making of the film's most special song called 'Sayaani' which celebrates and talks about a girl's coming of age.
As you can see in the song that how the whole family and neighbours celebrate the day when a girl has her first period. Filled with great music and meaningful lyrics, you can hear the song on loop. Written beautifully by Kausar Munir , the amazing song has been composed by Amit Trivedi.
Also starring Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in lead roles, Pad Man is scheduled to release on 9th February. It is an R Balki directorial.
