Amy Jackson backs out of the southern remake of ‘Queen’?
Amy Jackson was roped in to play Lisa Haydon’s part in the south remake of ‘Queen’ but the latest news reveals that the actress has now opted out for her American show ‘Supergirl’.
Amy Jackson’s next movie ‘2.0’ opposite superstar Rajinikanth, which also stars Akshay Kumar as the main antagonist, is in the news for months now. Besides this sci-fi film, the gorgeous actress has a couple of other movies lined up, and one such film is the remake of Hindi sleeper hit film ‘Queen’. Titled ‘Paris Paris’, the film features Kajal Aggarwal as the lead while Amy was supposed to portray Lisa Haydon’s role, but if the sources are to be believed, she has opted out of the project due to date issues. Reportedly, the makers were asking the actress to allot the same dates which she had already assigned for her American show ‘Supergirl’ in which she will be seen playing the ‘Saturn Girl’.
The news is true only if the sources are to be believed because neither the actress has given any such confirmation nor any announcement has officially been made by the makers. On 25 September 2017, it was announced that Jackson was cast in her first Hollywood role as Imra Ardeen aka Saturn Girl in The CW's superhero drama series Supergirl.
So, has Amy really opted out of ‘Paris Paris’ for her first Hollywood project ‘Supergirl’? Let’s wait for an official confirmation before reaching any conclusion.
