Completed in mid-2010, Prabhudeva starrer to release after 7 years!

Someone has very rightly said that making films is easy but releasing them is not. There is a long list of films which were announced with much fanfare and was even completed on time but failed to see the light of the day for one reason of the other. One such film is Prabhudeva starrer Kalavadiya Pozhuthukal. Written and directed by Thangar Bachan, the Tamil language film was wrapped up in mid-2010, but even after seven years, it has yet not reached theatres. However, if latest reports are to be believed, the movie might hit screens this month.

Actress Bhumika Chawla, who also works in Bollywood and has done movies like Tere Naam and Run, plays the female lead while Prakash Raj and Sathyaraj appear in supporting. Music of the film has been composed by Bharadwaj while lyrics have been provided by Vairamuthu.

Kalavadiya Pozhuthukal is releasing after seven years of its completion. A lot has changed over seven years. It will be really interesting to see what kind of response the film generates at the box office upon its release.
