Pathaan: Shah Rukh Khan's comeback film is officially announced, stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham

Good news awaits SRK’s fans as he shared the first teaser of his upcoming flick Pathaan. He announced the film with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham by unveiling a powerful teaser. The teaser opens with John Abraham and Deepika Padukone introducing SRK as 'Pathan'. Directed by Siddharth Anand, SRK will be seen playing a spy, who is devoted to the protection of his nation, in the upcoming action-thriller.

In the teaser, Abraham and Padukone take turns introducing 'Pathaan'. They discuss how he has no name and that his sole purpose in life is to protect his country at all costs. In a white shirt and long hair, Shah Rukh emerges from the shadows to speak about his love for the country.

Sharing the teaser, King Khan wrote, “I know it’s late… But remember the date… Pathaan time starts now…See you in cinemas on 25th January, 2023. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Celebrate #Pathaan with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you.”

Siddharth Anand directed the announcement teaser, which also stated that the action film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Helmed by Siddharth Anand and backed by Aditya Chopra, the film has been shot in several locations across Mumbai, Spain and Dubai.

It is worth noting that Pathaan marks SRK’s comeback to movies after almost four years. He was last seen on silver screens in Aanand L Rai's 2018 film, Zero.

Deepika, on the other hand was seen in the Amazon Prime film, Gehraiyaan (2022) whereas John Abraham was seen in Satyameva Jayate 2 (2021).
