She is a household name in the South. She has been in two of the most successful movies ever, Baahubali and Baahubali 2. As everyone is aware, Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty are presently filming in Hyderabad for UV Creations' large film directed by Mahesh P. The expectation for this film has increased since Anushka Shetty will be appearing on the big screen for the first time in a very long time.
It is now reported that the actress has put on weight once more in preparation for the movie, provisionally titled #Anushka48, therefore she is hiding from the eyes of the media. A source close to the film said, "Anushka has gained weight again for her role in the film. Interesting, she looks every bit confident and is leaving no stone unturned to get into the skin of her character. The makers have tightened the security on the sets and have made sure no photo of Anushka gets leaked online."
For those unfamiliar, Anushka Shetty naturally gained weight and added 20 kg to her frame in order to fill the shoes of her character in the movie Size Zero. Anushka Shetty, however, has broken glass barriers like no other actress in an era when actresses are extremely self-conscious about their bodies. Kanika Dhillon wrote the screenplay for Size Zero, which was directed by Prakash Kovelamudi.
