The song "Naatu Naatu" from S.S. Rajamouli's masterpiece "RRR" won the Best Original Song, Motion Picture category at the 80th Golden Globes, and India is prepared to bring home the award in 2023.

NAATU NAATU SONG WAS IN BATTLE WITH OTHER SONGS

The songs "Carolina" from "Where the Crawdads Sing," "Ciao Papa" from "Pinocchio" by Guillermo del Toro, "Hold My Hand" from "Top Gun: Maverick," and "Lift Me Up" from "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" competed with "Naatu Naatu."

M.M. KEERAVANI’S SPEECH

Musician M. M. Keeravani, who was in attendance with his wife Srivalli, was given the honour. He made tributes to Ram Charan, NTR Jr., and Rajamouli in his dedication of the prize. He said as he accepted the honour: "This award belongs to SS Rajamouli for his vision, I thank him for constantly believe and supporting my work. N.T. Rama Rao and Ram Charan who danced with full stamina."

Olivia Morris, NTR Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson are among the actors who appear in "RRR." The two fictional companions, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, who were actual Indian rebels who opposed the British Raj, are at the centre of the story. The story, which takes set in the 1920s, focuses on the undocumented time in each revolutionaries' lives when they both choose to live peaceful lives before going to war for their country.

The Golden Globes are being hosted in Los Angeles by comedian Jerrod Carmichael. The awards have reentered Hollywood's mainstream after undergoing internal reforms in response to complaints about its allegedly discriminatory and sexist voting procedures.
