Madras High Court issues summon to Dhanush

National Award winning actor Dhanush K Raja, popularly known as Dhanush, has reportedly been summoned by the Madras High Court regarding a case in which a couple claim that the Ambikapathy (2013) actor is their son.

As per reports, a man named Kathiresan and his wife Meenakshi have alleged that actor Dhanush is their son. The case is pending in the court for years and the final judgement is yet to be pronounced.

Dhanush was summoned after Kathiresan moved the court claiming that the actor had submitted forged documents of the paternity test and sought a police enquiry into the matter.

There are also reports stating that Kathiresan has filed an appeal asking the court to quash an order passed in 2020, which dismissed the case stating that there were no supporting documents to prove that the paternity documents were forged.

Noteworthy, Kathiresan and Meenakshi claim that Dhanush is their third son who left home and went to Chennai to pursue a career in films.

The couple also reportedly sought for a monthly compensation of Rs 65,000 from Dhanush. However, the actor has dismissed all the claims made by the duo.
