Several south industry stars have taken to their social media to wish fans a very happy Onam.

About Onam

The festival of Onam marks the first month in a Malayalam Calendar. The festival also celebrated Lord Vishnu in the avatar of Vamana and also the visit of the much loved legendary King Mahabali. It is a harvest festival in Kerala and people celebrating often prepare a lavish and colourful meal. The food is traditionally served on a banana leaf and called ‘Onam Sadhya’.

Actors from Tollywood and Mollywood are sharing their heartiest wishes to fans on Social Media to celebrate Onam. Actors like Mohanlal, Sai Pallavi, Karthi, and more have shared their wishes on their social media handles. Actor Mammootty who recently turned 71, shared a picture of himself dressed in a shirt and lungi. In the caption, he wrote a heartfelt wish for all his fans celebrating the harvest festival.

Actors Sai Pallavi and Karthi respectively shared Onam's wishes on their social media handles. Sai Pallavi wrote, “Onam Ashamsakal to all you lovely people.
