BollywoodMDB Exclusive: Here’re exclusive pictures of Priyanshu Jora who plays Baba Ramdev in Ajay Devgn’s TV show!

National Award winning actor Ajay Devgn is venturing into TV production, and his first offering under his newly launch production house will be a biopic show based on the life of celebrated yoga guru Ramdev. To be aired on Discovery’s upcoming Hindi general entertainment channel Discovery JEET in India, the show has been titled Swami Baba Ramdev: The Untold Story. The 65-episode scripted biopic TV series will trace Ramdev’s inspirational journey from being a common man to the one who went on to establish himself as one of the most influential national and international icons.

Earlier, there were reports that talented actor Vikrant Massey was roped in to play the title role on the show, but soon he bowed out. Now, we are going to tell you who has finally bagged the titular role. Television actor Priyanshu Jora, who shot to fame with popular shows like Tu Mera Hero and Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania, will play Baba Ramdev on the small screen. After looking at above pictures, we will have to admit that Priyanshu has nailed the look. He every bit looks like Baba Ramdev and we believe he will do full justice to the role he is going to play on the show.

According to reliable sources, the outdoor shooting schedule of the show has been wrapped up in Jaipur and the whole team is back to Mumbai to start the indoor shoot. The show will go on air by the end of the year. Filmmaker Abhinav Shukla has also collaborated with Ajay Devgn to co-produce the show.
