Ankita Lokhande to marry beau Vicky Jain in Maharashtrian style

Ankita Lokhande, one of the most prominent actresses working in the Indian television space, is set to marry her long-time boyfriend Vicky Jain today on December 14 in Maharashtrian style. The pre-wedding festivities of the couple, including mehendi, haldi, and engagement, kick-started on the night of December 11.

Photos and videos from their pre-wedding ceremonies are presently doing the rounds of the internet, thanks to Lokhande’s friend, actress Amruta Khanvilkar, who has shared several glimpses from the haldi and sangeet ceremonies on social media.

Ankita Lokhande looked gorgeous in a red lehenga during the haldi ceremony. Khanvilkar shared a video where she is seen applying haldi on Lokhande’s face. Vicky Jain also looked dapper in an ivory sherwani.

In another video, we see friends carrying Lokhande and Jain on their shoulders. The couple is seen having a gala time together as they gyrate to foot-tapping Bollywood songs playing in the background.

The two exchanged rings at a grand bling-themed engagement ceremony on Sunday. Sharing her engagement pictures on Instagram, Lokhande wrote, “Once in a while, right in the middle of ordinary life, love gives us a fairy-tale.”

According to reports, Lokhande and Jain have called off the red-carpet event owing to the sudden rise in coronavirus cases in Maharashtra. The guests will be there at the hotel for the reception but in rotation.
