The previous episode of Bigg Boss 16 was rather interesting. For the Shanivaar Ka Vaar episode, host Salman Khan returned to the house. Hasan Touqeer, Madhumita Datta, and Brijmohan Bhanot taking the stage was the day's high point. They are the parents of Tina Datta, Shalin Bhanot, and Sumbul Touqeer. For the uninitiated, in an earlier episode, Sumbul and her dad had a phone call where the latter bashed Tina and Shalin and asked his daughter to stay away from them. In the previous episode, Tina and Shalin's parents bashed Sumbul's dad. Additionally, Salman Khan declared there will be no evictions this week.

Here’s what took place Bigg Boss 16's previous episode

1. Shalin Bhanot's parents and Tina Datta's mother both entered Bigg Boss 16 to speak with Salman Khan. According to Tina's mother, there is still plenty of time to fall in love outside of the Big Brother house.

2. Subsequently, Sumbul Touqeer's father joins the show. Tina's mother confronts him after hearing him criticise her daughter.

3. Shalin's father jumped on him as well, telling him to stop reminding Sumbul of her young age. Sumbul's father continued to defend himself throughout this.

4. Salman Khan interjected and charged that Sumbul's father had abused the call by fabricating an emergency.

5. Subsequently, Tina's mother and Sumbul's father got into a major fight. According to Sumbul's father, he was only semi-conscious when he talked.

6. In order to interact with the contestants , Kajol and Revathi also went inside. They came to advertise Salaam Venky, their newest movie. Even a well-known sequence from their 1998 movie Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya was recreated by Salman and Kajol.

7. Kajol also engaged the contestants in a game in which she asked them to identify a housemate who wasn't their support system. Archana Gautam was introduced by Sajid Khan, Abdu Rozik, Tina Datta, and Sumbul Touqeer Khan. Meanwhile, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary was named by MC Stan, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, and Archana.

8. Salman Khan also commented on the ongoing argument between Archana and Sajid within the house. To solve the problem, he asked them. They hug it out over their disagreements.

9. In a previous episode, Sajid also said that as a powerful director, he could have Archana fired from the show. Salman responded to this by saying,“You must be a great director but you can’t run Bigg Boss and nobody can remove Archana, not even me. Only the audience can decide whether they want to keep or remove her.”

10. Salman Khan announced that there won't be any evictions this week at the end of the episode. All of the competitors were relieved to hear this. Gautam Vig was evicted last week.

Sajid Khan, Tina Datta, Shalin Bhanit, Soundarya Sharma, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Ankit Gupta, Priyanka Chaudhary, Sumbul Touqueer Khan, Archana Gautam, Shiv Thakare, and Abdu Rozik are the celebrities competing this time inside the house. The residence has been cleared of Gautam Vig, Gori Nagori, Sreejita De, and Manya Singh. Due to its new twists and adjustments this time around, notably the change in Weekend Ka Vaar days from Sat-Sun to Fri-Sat, Bigg Boss 16 has already generated a lot of talk.
