Bigg Boss fame Lopamudra Raut who is an environmental advocate celebrated eco-friendly Diwali; shares tips

Diwali basically means becoming aware of your inner light. In a way, it's a celebration of the emergence of the Inner Light, which has the ability to dispel the darkness. People wear new clothes, burn crackers, exchange gifts and sweets, decorate their homes with diyas, rangolis, and decorative lights, and perform Lakshmi Pujan in the evening. Lopamudra Raut, a former beauty queen who also participated in the reality show Bigg Boss, described her festival preparations.

A staunch advocate of environmental rights and improvement, she made a conscious decision to minimize the festival's impact on the environment by using rituals and traditions that don't interfere with them. She gave the spectators some advice on how to improve their behavior in ways that could enhance nature in various ways. She expressed, “We should always act in a way that benefits the environment, not the other way whichever festival it might be. Aged infants, young children, and animals must all be taken into consideration. Let's celebrate Diwali in a responsible and safe manner. Consider the harm we can avoid while keeping in mind future generations. It would be beneficial to take small actions to conserve the environment.”

She continues by stating that she prefers diet mithai for Diwali that has been sweetened with dates and jaggery. Lopamudra, who is well-known for being extremely healthy and fit, provides a great illustration of how we might celebrate this Diwali in an eco-friendly and healthier way. Lopamudra who celebrated Diwali at her home shared pictures from her celebration decked up in a beautiful lehenga and posted a message which read, “Happy Diwali have a safe one !
