The digital edition of ‘Bigg Boss,’ which debuted with its second season a month ago, is now hosted by Salman Khan. The celebrity made a comeback with the digital edition after hosting the 16th season, taking Karan Johar's place. However, Salman has been in the news because of several problems he has discussed on ‘Weekend Ka Vaar.’ But ever since he was spotted criticising one of the competitors, Elvish Yadav, the superstar has been under the radar.

A recent ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode clip has been posted online, and the celebrity is being ridiculed for degrading the YouTuber. A viral post claims that the superstar has received a major kick as a result.

A short while ago, a user of the microblogging website Instagram took to social media to publish the purported statistics of Salman Khan's followers. A report which has gone viral, claims that prior to his battle with Elvish Yadav on ‘Bigg Boss OTT,’ Salman Khan had 66.8 million Instagram followers but that number has since dropped to 63.7 million as a result of the programme.

However, Social Blade statistics show that Salman Khan's Instagram followers never exceeded 66 million. His fan base has been rapidly expanding over the last few days, with an average of over 20K new followers being added daily. Salman had about 63.3 Instagram followers on July 17; as of today, there are 63.6 (soon to be 66.7) million.

A social media user recently shared footage from the most recent episode in which the host, Salman Khan, criticises Elvish Yadav. The post caption reads, “He is Elvish Yadav, RW YouTuber. He is in Salman khan’s show #BiggBoss. Elvish used to abuse & malign Salman and his family. Today Salman showed Elvish’s 'aukat' in a show and called out his fake bot army. Hearing that, Elvish started crying in the live show but he didn’t repeat the words for Salman that he used to do in his YouTube videos. Elvish is not a Hindu, because a Hindu can’t be this fattu.”
