Erica Fernandez receives compliments from Madhuri Dixit, lives her 'dhak dhak' moment on stage

Television actress Erica Fernandez, best known for her portrayal of Dr. Sonakshi Bose in the Sony TV show Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi was recently honoured at the Asian Excellence Awards 2022. Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit was the one who presented Erica with the award. For Erica, seeing Madhuri again was a dream come true. Madhuri remembered their first meeting, which pleasantly surprised her. Erica was visibly thrilled, and she shared her dhak dhak moment on stage with Madhuri.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Erica shared a series of pictures with the Saajan (1991) actress. She wrote the caption, "Hi! How are you?? It's so nice to see you again!! you are looking so beautiful. Yes, that's the conversation in the first picture. And I was pleasantly surprised to know that she recalled our first meeting. Who wouldn't be excited about that right ?Now that was my dhak dhak moment."

Erica also won the coveted Dadasaheb Phalke Award for finest actress on Indian television in 2021 last month.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Erica left Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi 3 because she didn't think her character grew enough in the series. She also has a Youtube channel where she posts videos related to makeup and fashion. Erica Fernandes announced a joint venture with her brother just a few days ago, on March 6. The actress and her brother have created a new page where they will discuss cuisine and different recipes.
