Imlie Actress Seerat Kapoor REVEALS About Her First Interaction With Sumbul Touqeer Khan

Imlie has been one of the most popular television shows since its debut and has scored well on the TRP ratings. Earlier, Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Fahmaan Khan played the two leads of the show. The audiences were fans of their on-screen chemistry and acting.

But after a 20-year leap, the story of the show now revolves around a grown-up Chini and Imlie and the complexities that surround them. Now the show's main characters are Megha Chakraborty, Seerat Kapoor, and Karan Vohra. GUL Khan is in charge of producing the show through 4 Lions Films. Seerat Kapoor who plays the popular character of Chini on the show is currently not appearing on the show for some time but she will be making a comeback soon on the show.

Seerat On Meeting Sumbul Touqeer Khan

In a recent interview, the actress spoke about her experience of meeting Sumbul Touqeer Khan who earlier played the lead role as Imlie. Recalling her first interaction with Sumbul, she said, “I met Sumbul on the sets when I had come for a mock shoot during which Sumbul was also shooting for her last two days of the show. She was very busy as the shooting schedule was hectic but then I met her. She excitedly came and hugged me, wished me all the best and you know encouraged me saying that I’ll do great.”

Sumbul participated in Bigg Boss 16 after she left the show Imlie and the actress was one of the top contestants on the show. Talking about the same, Seerat said, “Everyone on the set used to talk about Sumbul and Bigg Boss. Even though I didn’t really follow Bigg Boss, I knew what she did and how well she performed because everyone just used to talk about her.”

Seerat Kapoor As Chini

Seerat further also spoke about her character Chini and her return to the show. She said that Chini will make a comeback on the show with a bang and that as far as she knows about her character, the writer will never disappoint the audience and will make sure that Chini’s entry on the show will be great.
