For quite some time now, there have been rumours that TV actress Jennifer Winget is dating her Code M co-star Tanuj Virwani. Pictures of Jennifer and Tanuj from the former's birthday celebration had gone viral on social media recently, which further fuelled the speculation that the two are more than just co-stars.

However, the actress has come out and issued a clarification for once and for all. In a recent interview, the Kasautii Zindagii Kay actress revealed that the rumours of her dating Tanuj are baseless and that they are just good friends.

Jennifer also added that these link-up rumours do not affect her as being a public figure, she'll surely have opinions and judgements of all sorts coming her way.

"It doesn’t bother me one bit because as long as I know my truth, my family knows the truth, my friends and fans know my truth, that’s all that matters to me. Look, I am a public figure and people will have an opinion and judgements about me and that’s ok. As long as they respect my work and the boundaries I am fine with it. I understand it is a part of the job. So it doesn’t bother me," she said.

Noteworthy, Jennifer Winget married actor Karan Singh Grover on 9 April 2012. In November 2014, Winget stated that she and Grover had separated. The news of their divorce came as a shock to many and recently Jennifer spoke about the negative impact it had on her as a lot was being written and said about her personal life.

However, the Bepanaah actress added she is in a much better space right now and has made peace with her past.
