Jannat Zubair performs Umrah with brother Ayaan Zubair; shares picture

Popular TV star Jannat Zubair is currently in Saudi Arabia's Mecca to perform Umrah. The actress, known for shows like 'Phulwa' and 'Dil Mill Gaye' is on her first Umrah pilgrimage, along with younger brother Ayaan Zubair.

The sibling duo took to Instagram to share a pic from their first Haj-e-Umrah. In the picture, they can be seen dressed in the traditional white robes with the holy mosque of Mecca in the backdrop.

“Jumma Mubarak Completed our first Umrah Alhumdulillah,” the duo captioned the post.

After Shah Rukh Khan, Jannat Zubair visits Mecca for Umrah

Not so long ago, Jannat had shared pictures from her trip to Medina. She visited the holy city in Saudi Arabia along with her parents and brother Ayaan.

For starters, Umrah is pilgrimage made by Muslims to Mecca, which may be performed at any time of the year. It is often confused with Haj; however the latter is mandatory while the former isn't. Moreover, Haj is performed only around the festival of Eid-ul-Adha whereas Umrah can be performed any time.

Recently, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan had also visited Mecca to perform his first Umrah. Pics of SRK from the holy mosque had gone viral on social media.

Jannat Zubair started out as a child artist and later starred in popular TV shows like 'Siyaasat', 'Ab Na Rahe Tera Kagaz Kora', 'Matti Ki Banno', 'Phulwa' and 'Bharat Ka Veer Putra–Maharana Pratap'.

She was last seen as a contestant in Colors TV's 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' season 12.
