Most recently seen in reality shows Bigg Boss OTT and Bigg Boss 15, the talented actor will be making his return to the fiction genre with producer Rajan Shahi’s upcoming show for Star Bharat, which also features Shaheer Sheikh as one of the male leads. The last fiction show in which Bapat played a full-fledged role was Qubool Hai, almost seven years ago.

Talking about his return, the actor told a publication, "Yes, it has been a while since I did a TV show; Qubool Hai was my last show, which was in 2014. For me, what matters most is the vibe of the people I am working with. The team has to be right. The reason I stayed away from TV was because somewhere the energies were not matching, but in this case, my energies matched with Rajan Sir. We have worked together in Saath Phere, which was my first show. I love his creative streak, and when he offered me this role, I immediately took it up. "
