While promoting his film Bachchhan Paandey on The Kapil Sharma Show, Akshay Kumar calls Kapil ‘Bewafa’

The Kapil Sharma Show will shortly be joined by Bollywood's most punctual actor, Akshay Kumar. The Khiladi (1992) actor will appear on the comedy and entertainment show to promote his forthcoming film Bachchhan Paandey. Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Arshad Warsi are among the cast members who will be joining him on sets. Akshay Kumar and Kapil Sharma are seen in the promo discussing the concept of Bewafa while promoting a new song from the film.

"Bewafa ka matlb hota hai jisse aapko ummeed na ho vo aapka dil todey," Kapil Sharma says in the amusing video while standing alongside Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar. "Bewafa koi bhi ho skta hai, dost bhi, host bhi (pointing to Kapil), chacha, mama, bua, bhatija, koi bhi," adds Akshay Kumar. "Aapka boss bhi, partner bhi, junior bhi, senior bhi (pointing at Akshay), etc," Kapil Sharma continues, handing it back to Akshay Kumar. There has been a significant increase in the number of designations that can be bewafa. "Ye gana jo hai Bewafa," Akshay said, "meri taraf se sabhi bewafao ko tohfa." He challenged everyone to produce reels based on the song and describe who in their lives is bewafa. "Jaise mere life ka bewafa," he says.

Due to a dispute in the previous episode, Akshay Kumar refused to promote his next film Bachchhan Paandey on TKSS. However, Kapil Sharma then corrected the misconception, claiming that their relationship is OK.

For the uninitiated, Akshay became enraged with Kapil when a behind-the-scenes video from the programme was leaked on social media. The TKSS host insulted Akshay during his conversation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a video. According to reports, the actor asked the TKSS crew not to include the scene in the episode. Regardless, it was widely shared on social media and drew widespread notice. Outraged, Akshay Kumar refused to work with Kapil until he received an explanation.
