Vivek Shaq has placed his mark in Bollywood as a comedian actor.
He has acted in smash hits with superstars like Sunny Deol in Gadar : Ek Prem Katha (2001) ; Arjun Rampal in Dil Hai Tumhaara (2002) ; Akshay Kumar in Humko Deewana Kar Gaye (2006) and Bobby Deol in Nanhe Jaisalmer : A Dream Come True (2007).
As Inspector Ravi, he made great humor with Akshaye Khanna in 36 China Town (2006) and also appeared in comedy films like Krazzy 4 (2008), and as Goldie in Chakk De Phatte (2008).
His upcoming liberations are Mini Punjab (2009) and Samir Karnik's Vaada Raha (2009) starring Bobby Deol and Kangana Ranaut.
