Zain Khan started young and at thirteen years old he could boast of one hundred and forty ads including one with Sachin Tendulkar. Lux Underwear, Boost and Pepsodent are a few of the ads that he has appeared in.
He is a motorcycle racer and has acted in films like Parineeta (2005) where he played Shekhar's younger version. In Krrish (2006) he acted with Hrithik Roshan. Chain Kulii Ki Main Kulii (2007) revolved around him as an orphan after which he worked in Hari Puttar: A Comedy of Errors (2008).
In 2009, he is a part of Romilla Mukherjee's directorial debut Detective Naani.
