Salman Khan is an all-time hit Bollywood star. He can play any role with ease. The superstar has delivered a series of blockbusters over the years, which makes him one of the most commercially successful actors Bollywood has ever produced. Though his last outing Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai (2021) did not turn out to be the massive blockbuster it was expected to be, his upcoming line-up is definitely going to set the cash registers jingling at the box-office. From Tiger 3 to No Entry 2, here are 5 upcoming Salman Khan films fans are waiting for with bated breath.
1. Tiger 3
Tiger 3 marks the third installment in Salman Khan’s spy thriller franchise, Tiger. The first two films, Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), were huge hits at the box office. The upcoming film will co-star Katrina Kaif, and is being directed by Maneesh Sharma. However, the shooting of the film has been put on halt since the rise of COVID-19 cases in India. Emraan Hashmi also plays an important role in the espionage thriller.
2. Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali
Announced almost two years ago, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is expected to mount the shooting floor in the second half of 2022. To be directed by Farhad Samji, the family entertainer also stars Pooja Hegde in the lead role. This will mark her first collaboration with the superstar and she is quite thrilled about the same. Sajid Nadiadwala will bankroll the big-ticket venture under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
3. No Entry 2
The classic comedy drama of Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan, No Entry (2005), will soon have its sequel where the three actors will play triple roles and romance ten actresses. Yes, you read that right! Khan confirmed the sequel recently on his birthday on 27th December. The film will be directed by Anees Bazmee.
4. Pawan Putra Bhaijaan
Pawan Putra Bhaijaan will be a sequel to Salman Khan’s 2015 blockbuster, Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The film will probably go on floors once the script is ready and may also star Nawazuddin Siddiqui along with Salman. While the original was directed by Kabir Khan, there is no update who will direct the sequel.
5. Dabangg 4
The fourth installment of Salman Khan’s cop franchise, Dabangg, is already in the pipeline, as Tigmanshu Dhulia is writing the script for the same. According to a source, Salman Khan is impressed with the basic idea of the film, and the narration of the script will take place soon. The film may go on floors in 2023.
