The trailer for the most anticipated film of 2022, Gehraiyaan, is finally out now on YouTube. The film stars Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ananya Panday in lead roles. Shakun Batra has directed.
Sharing the trailer on social media, Deepika Padukone wrote, “Life, Love, and Choices. Get ready to experience it all!"
While captioning the trailer, producer Karan Johar wrote, "All the shades of love, choices, and consequences wrapped into an experience that awaits you.”
The film is majorly filmed over the background of the sea. Maybe that’s how the film got its name, as the film involves the deepness of relationships. The trailer has given the basics of the film’s storyline. The film will revolve around the complicated relationships among the characters played by Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ananya Panday.
The trailer also showed how a relationship can become more complicated with lies. Apart from the amazing performances from the lead cast, the movie will also feature amazing chemistry between Deepika and Siddhant. This will be the first time Deepika has worked with the other two.
Director Shakun Batra has co-written the film with Sumit Roy, Ayesha DeVitre, and Yash Sahai. Along with Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta, Batra is also a producer on Gehraiyaan. Backing the film are Batra's Jouska Films, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios.
The film will be released on February 11 on Amazon Prime Video.
