The Romantics, a four-part Netflix documentary series honouring the legacy of Yash Chopra and the YRF, debuted its trailer today.
The late Yash Chopra and his son Aditya Chopra produced successful movies that delighted audiences. Everyone fell in love with their on-screen characters thanks to them. Silsila, Lamhe, Kabhi Kabhie, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Veer-Zaara, Dil To Pagal Hai, Chandni, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Ek Tha Tiger, and many other movies have been produced by Yash Raj Films. Everybody's life have been greatly influenced by these movies.
The teaser for "The Romantics," a four-part Netflix documentary series honouring famous director Yash Chopra, YRF's legacy, and its influence on Indian popular culture for the past 50 years, was released today. 35 individuals who have worked closely with YRF, such as Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Rishi Kapoor, and others, have gathered for this to examine the history of Hindi film as seen through the eyes of YRF.
THE ROMANTICS TRAILER
Several celebrities react to the phrase "Bollywood" in the trailer's opening moments. No, I don't like that word, Salim Khan, Salman Khan's father, is heard stating. "Hate it," even Ranbir Kapoor adds. Rani Mukerji and Ranveer Singh discussed how Yash Chopra had faith in their abilities. When celebrities learned that Aditya Chopra, who has always been discreet about his life, had been interviewed for this docuseries, they were taken aback. They couldn't imagine that after 20 years, Aditya would finally be captured on tape. In 1995, he gave his final interview to a magazine. The talented producer and director will provide YRF-related insights.
Smriti Mundhra, who previously worked on the Never Have I Ever and Indian Matchmaking franchises, is the docuseries' director. As a tribute to Yash Chopra, who is known as the "Father of Romance" in India because of his classic romantic comedies, The Romantics will debut on Netflix on February 14.
