The horror-comedy Golmaal Again is on a roll! The film has been receiving a raving response from the audience as well as the critics. The film is the highest grossing Bollywood film so far of 2017 and second highest grossing Indian film after Baahubali 2. The movie stars actors Ajay Devgn , Parineeti Chopra , Arshad Warsi , Tusshar Kapoor , Shreyas Talpade , Kunal Kemmu , Tabu , Neil Nitin Mukesh, Johny Lever among others in key roles.
The horror comedy made Rs. 2.04 crores on Friday, Rs. 3.69 crores on Saturday and Rs. 4.85 crores. The film further made Rs. 1.25 crores on Monday (week 3). Hence, the total collection stands at Rs. 194.77 crores at the domestic box-office front. The movie is performing decently despite two new films including Ittefaq and Ribbon.
Talking about the success of the film, Rohit Shetty said, “It’s a great feeling. You die and wait for this day. It’s actually a feeling I can’t express. I would just say thank you to the audience. Filmein toh sab banate hai. Humne bhi banayi. Sab ne mehnat ki hai. The credit goes to everyone – from actors to technicians. It’s not just my film after all. Yeh hum sabki film hai.”
“The entire film industry is happy with the kind of response generated by Golmaal Again ,” Shetty added further.
