Beauty with brains Parineeti Chopra is the cousin of famous Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra. Parineeti always wanted to be an investment banker. She had never fancied being an actress. She was a brilliant student throughout her school and college years. Born on 22nd October 1988 in Ambala, Parineeti has a triple honors degree in Finance, Business and Economics. Nicknamed as Tisha, Parineeti's father Pawan Chopra works as a supplier to the Indian Army at Ambala Cantonment. He is a business man too. Her mother Reena Chopra is a well educated housewife. Parineeti has two brothers named as Shivang and Sahaj. The charming actress went to Convent of Jesus and Mary in Ambala .Later she went to the Manchester Business School in UK for higher studies. She worked with a firm in the UK after finishing her education. During the recession of 2009, Parineeti came back to India and shifted to Mumbai. There she worked as a Public relations Consultant with Yash Raj Films. Accidentally she gave a dummy audition and got selected for Yash Raj Films' project 'Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl'. Parineeti made her acting debut in the Bollywood through this film. She did a supporting role in this movie. The film got a moderate success at the box office, but Parineeti got many positive reviews and appreciation from the critics and audiences. She got many nominations and awards for her best supporting role in this film.

Parineeti's next release in the lead role was Habib Faisal's romantic flick 'Ishaqzaade' with Arjun Kapoor. This film got a huge response at the box office and people loved Parineeti's acting in this film. She got a huge critical acclaim for this. She also got her first nomination for the best actress for 'Ishaqzaade'.

Parineeti is presently busy with her next releases like 'Hasee Toh Phasee' with Siddharth Malhotra. She is working in 'Kill Dil' by Shaad Ali with the co-actors like Ali Zafar and Ranveer Singh.She also has Maneesh Sharma's untitled project with Sushant Singh Rajput in her kitty.
