Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ has successfully completed its full-fledged 3 weeks' run at the box office and is still standing strong. Till Wednesday, the Ali Abbas Zafar helmed film did a total business of Rs. 316.74 crores and yesterday’s collection just took the film an inch closer to the lifetime collection Salman’s highest grosser, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. On its third Thursday i.e. day 21, TZH minted Rs. 2.12 crores, taking the Grand Total to Rs. 318.86 crores. Now, TZH is just Rs. 1.48 crores away to surpass BB and become the highest grossing Salman Khan film ever.
The day wise collections of TZH in week 3 are as follows:
|Friday 3.72 cr||Saturday 5.62 cr||Sunday 8.27 cr||Monday 2.72 cr||Tuesday 2.56 cr||Wednesday2.30 cr||Thursday 2.12 cr|
Total Week 3 collection: ? 27.31 cr.
|Week 1||Rs. 206.04 crores|
|Week 2||Rs. 85.51 crores|
|Week 3||Rs. 27.31 crores|
|Grand Total so far:||Rs. 318.85 crores|
TZH’s collections might face a downfall as three new films released today. While Vikram Bhatt’s ‘1921’ is expected to bother less to Salman’s film; ‘Kaalakaandi’ and ‘Mukkabaaz’ can surely affect the business of TZH. In the coming week, 3 more films will be releasing, so it will be interesting to see whether ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ manages to stay strong in its fourth week or not.
