Kaalakaandi begins with Saif Ali Khan, a gentleman, who has never done an unlawful or unethical thing in his life and still gets diagnosed with cancer. The moment he comes to know that he has limited days left in this world, he starts doing all the crazy things which he has never done before. Along with Saif, Kaalakaandi is connected with 5 other people and their one-night stories. Like Saif, all the other 5 characters go through dark moments of their lives and while trying to make things better for themselves that chaotic single night becomes the worst night of their lives.
