Tiger Zinda Hai Collection: Salman Khan's film continues its glorious run on its second Monday; total reaches to Rs. 272.79 crore!

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif 's Tiger Zinda Hai , which is a sequel to Ek Tha Tiger , began its New Year with a bang. The film earned Rs. 18.04 crore on its second Monday at the box office, bringing its domestic haul to a huge Rs. 272.79 crores. After emerging as the biggest blockbuster of 2017, toppling Ajay Devgn 's Golmaal Again by a huge margin, the film is now on its way to becoming the third Rs. 300 crore film of superstar Salman Khan after Sultan (Rs. 300.45 crores) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs. 320.24 crores). Seeing the current pace of the film, the feat does not look impossible at all. In all likelihood, Tiger Zinda Hai will march past Rs. 300 crore club within two days.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar , Tiger Zinda Hai was one of the most awaited films of 2017. After the dismal performance of Salman Khan's Tubelight , the audience was expecting a lot more from the film. Outperforming expectations, the Yash Raj Films's venture stayed atop the box office chart and has done obscenely well on all days to date. TZH has turned out to be a monster hit in a rough-and-tumble year.

The film will continue to draw crowds for at least two more weeks as no major Hindi release is coming up to hinder its growth in coming days. By the time any big release arrives in cinemas, Tiger Zinda Hai is expected to emerge the biggest blockbuster of actor Salman Khan 's career, bypassing the total domestic earning of his highest grossing film Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which had snagged Rs. 320.24 crores by the end of its box office run in 2015.
