The action king of the Bollywood Sunny Deol a.k.a Sunny Deol is the elder son of yesteryears handsome actor Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur ( Dharmendra \'s first wife). He is the stepson of Dreamgirl Hema Malini and elder brother of Bobby Deol . Esha Deol and Ahana Deol are his half sisters. The strong Jatt guy is married to Pooja Deol and the couple has two sons named Rajvir and Karan. Vijayta and Ajeeta are his real sisters and actor Abhay Deol is his cousin. His son Karan is about to make his debut in the Bollywood.

The Punjabi Sikh Munda was born on 19th October 1956 in Delhi. His native place is Sahnewal village in Punjab. The tough guy made his debut through the film \'Betaab \' in 1983 with the newbie Amrita Singh . The film was a huge hit at the box office. Sunny became a household name after that film. Later he appeared in many action flicks such as \'Arjun\',\'Ghatak \',\'Tridev\',\'Darr \',\'Damini\' and \'Border \' etc. His performance in the film \'Damini\' was very much appreciated. Almost all the films in which Sunny appeared was successful at the box office. People loved to see the macho man Sunny fighting on screen with the evil. His film \'Ghayal\' brought him his first award as the best actor. He got the award for the best supporting actor for \'Damini\'.

Sunny\'s next releases were \'Ghayal \' and \'Ziddi\'. He produced a film named as \'Dillagi\' with his brother Bobby Deol in a lead, but the film could not do well at the box office. His best film till date is \'Gadar \' in which he displayed his mettle in the acting too. He was seen as a caring family man in his next \'Apne \' with his father Dharmendra and brother Bobby. The trio again appeared in the comic flick \'Yamla Pagla Deewana \' which was a success at the box office. His film \'Heroes \' also brought him accolades for his performance.

A self made personality, Sunny has created his own niche in the Bollywood. He has become successful in creating his own genre of action films. Sunny\'s recent releases were \'Kshatriya \',\'Fox \',\'Right Yaaa Wrong \',\'Hello Darling \',\'Khuda Kasam \' etc. His future projects include \'I Love NY \',\' and \'Yamla Pagla Deewana 2\'.
