The internet is flooded with nothing but updates about Met Gala and the celebrities who attended the event. The craze of Met Gala is at its peak; though it’s an international event what makes it so special? Well, speaking of the most opulent fashion affair, Met Gala is a charity event organised by iconic Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour. The prestigious event is held to raise funds for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute.

Met Gala is one of the highly-regarding fashion event, with a guest list of 400-500 celebrities from fields such as fashion, films, sports and so on. Not just that one has to buy a ticket of $35, 000 in order to attend the event. Considering the fact that some companies like Gucci and Prada do host their desirable celebrities which means these celebs then don’t end up paying.

The star studded event believes in no mobile policy. Talking about what actually happens at the event- so the celebs walk down the red carpet in their jaw dropping outfits. They then checkout the exhibition followed by a formal dinner and the event is of course concluded with a after party.

As of now Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Isha Ambani, Natasha Poonawalla and Sudha Reddy have represented India at the Met Gala event.
