Elephants Bommi and Raghu, along with the rest of the cast of The Elephant Whisperers, posed with the Academy Award that was given to the documentary.

After six years, she said, the cast finally got together at the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve, and she posted a picture of it on Instagram.

Six years later, Kartiki Gonsalves and his family are back in the room where it all began, and he captioned the photo, “Our complete family together reunited right here right now in the very space where it all began (black heart emoji) six years later, @theelephantwhisperers. The Elephant Whisperers took home the Oscar for best documentary short film this year.
