The Story
Mangesh Hadawale is a budding Indian Film Director and Writer. Mangesh was born on September 2, 1980 in Rajuri Village at Junnar Taluka in Pune district. He was born in a farmer family. Mangesh pursued a degree in theatre at the Centre for Performing Arts, University of Pune commonly called as Lalit Kala Kendra.
He directed his debut Marathi movie 'Tingya' in 2007 which won critical acclamations and was selected for a few international film festivals likethe Mumbai Academy of Moving Images(MAMI), Pune International Film Festival (PIFF), 38th International Film Festival of India in Goa and 5th Asian Film Festival. 'Tingyas's lead protagonist played by Sharad Goyekar won National Award 2009 for Best Child Actor. Mangesh's next was Hindi directorial titled 'Dekh Indian Circus' starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Tannishtha Chatterjee in pivotal roles. The film Premiered at 16th Bustan Film Festival and won the audience choice award.
