Vijay (Ajay Devgan) and his meteoric rise to riches. This wins him the admiration of another industrialist Oberoi (Amrish Puri). Oberoi's extreme fondness of Vijay arouses jealousy of his wife (Reena Roy) and son Raja (Ajinkya Deo). Raja's uncle who suggests Vijay to be Oberoi's illegitimate son fans the ill will. The suspicion gains ground when Oberoi agrees to Vijay's marriage to Madhu (Raveena Tandon) even when his own son Raja is in love with him. The film climaxes in the truth getting exposed and villains unveiled.
