One line Review: This comedy-action-drama comprises of a few fun sequences and can be enjoyed provided one chooses to keep their brains aside! Positive Points: The movie has an ensemble cast of good looking actors. Gorgeous locales of London, fun upbeat songs, Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh’s comic timing sums up for a good treat. Negative Points: There is no story or plot to look forward to, but that was pretty much expected from this franchise film. Race, class and colour are used as means to create comedy. Plot: Ganga (Jacqueline Fernandez), Jamuna (Lisa Haydon) and Saraswati (Nargis Fakhri) are the three Sanskari Daughters of a millionaire Batuk Patel (Boman Irani). Unlike any father, Batuk does not want his daughters to get married. But, these three beauties fall in love with Sandy (Akshay Kumar), Teddy ( Riteish Deshmukh) and Bunty (Abhishek Bachchan), respectively. When the girls reveal about their boyfriends to Batuk, he makes up a plan to stop them from getting married. Batuk brings a fake astrologer (Chunky Pandey) and convey to his daughters that if they ever get married, he will be on the death bed. Hence, the three guys have to act disabled before him. Sandy becomes crippled, Teddy acts as if blind and Bunty turns mute. Will the efforts of the lovers be fruitful? How will they convince their dad to accept their love and get them married is the rest of the film. Direction and other Technical Aspects: Sajid-Farhad’s Housefull 3 stays true to its genre. Though it cannot be called a laugh riot altogether, as it has only a few sequences that gives the audience an opportunity to laugh whole heartedly. There are limited funny one-liners that click but, overall it is a positive film, that manages keeps your smile intact all the way through the movie. There is no story, no plot but, yes the viewers will be surprised with random twists from time to time. Nothing much is expected from a comedy film, its whole purpose is to give the audience a hearty laugh and Housefull 3 performs decently in this department. The dialogues were average; the lines of the actresses were unnecessary and pale. Songs, music and background score was fun. Performances: This film brings back Akshay Kumar’s lovable comic avatar. He is so perfect in whatever he chooses to take up be it action, drama, thriller or comedy. His apt comic timing and on point expressions manages to make you laugh the most in the film. Riteish Deshmukh who is known to play comic role has done an appreciable job. He is good in his part and invokes little doses of laughter every now and then. Abhishek Bachchan who is a new addition to this multi starrer, is fun. We have seen him in many comedy films in the past and hence here, he fits the bill and gels appropriately. Jacqueline Fernandez is beautiful. Straight up 10 on 10 for her looks, her clothes and hotness! She lights up the screen with her presence and her cute performance. She is good; her dialogue delivery part is still weak. Nargis Fakhri managed to make the audience laugh with a super long dialogue and fun scene that is worth the mention. Apart from that, she is fairly decent in her performance. Weak in dialogue delivery. Lisa Haydon is good when it comes to acting but, still has to go a long way when it comes to dialogue delivery. The gorgeous lady does not even get the lip-sync right! Music: Songs are fun, upbeat and enjoyable. The background score is good. Final Verdict: Housefull 3 is a light hearted, mindless comedy drama that can make up for a decent one-time watch. For its genre, it is a complete family entertainer and as mentioned earlier, it is illogical and hence can be enjoyed only if we choose to keep our brain aside.

Neither a disaster nor a fully realized madcap farce, HOUSEFULL 3 survives majorly on Akshay Kumar's bursts of craziness as Sandy/Sundy with a bit of helping hand from Abhishek Bachchan.. rest is on the loose as the director writer duo Sajid Farhad's merger of goofball gags and childish jokes makes you search for a 'thandi wali dava' chill pill.. Lots more like that in this K. Subash story about a London based business tycoon Batook Patel (Boman Irani) who doesn't want his three daughters - Ganga (Jacqueline), Jamuna (Nargis) and Saraswati (Lisa), to get married.

An Indian businessman Batuk Patel (Boman Irani) has built an empire in London. His daughters - lovingly named Ganga, Jamuna and Saraswati (played by Jacqueline Fernandez, Lisa Haydon and Nargis Fakhri) - want to marry Sandy, Bunty and Teddy (Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bahchchan and Riteish Deshmukh), who are as broke as can be. The problem is Patel doesn't want his daughters to get married at all. But this premise is hardly the interesting part of the movie. It's the dialogues.

You enter a theatre expecting the film to be silly and absurd. And even then, you end up laughing in amazement at the level of nonsense that it reaches. And then this sets a series of giggles - sometimes, out of embarrassment and sometimes, purely out of glee. 'Housefull 3' is another such gem in this genre and going by the family that was sitting behind me catching it FDFS and doubling up with laughter at every scene, this review seems rather irrelevant yet again.

Sandy suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder, which results in the emergence of his violence-prone, self-destructive alter ego Sundy every time someone utters the word "Indian". Teddy (Riteish Deshmukh) is congenitally confused by words, for instance saying "tawaif" for "wife". Gangster Oojra Nagre (Jackie Shroff) has a penchant for coining acronyms at the drop of a hat, such as ATM for "Ab tu marega" and WTF for "Wednesday Thursday Friday".

Ritesh Deshmukh can see. Abhishek Bachchan can talk. Akshay Kumar can walk. And I, somehow, survived Housefull 3. That, ladies and gentleman, is the real miracle. It is my moral duty to ensure you do too by providing you 10 reasons why you cannot afford to miss the third offering in the franchise of the senseless, by the witless, for the brainless.

If you have seen the two earlier installments of this franchise, you already know that is purely a 'leave-your-brains-behind' affair. The premise is a comedy of errors. But unlike Gulzar's gem Angoor (1982), this one is not about twins. It's so convoluted, it will make Shakespeare turn in his grave. Sample this. Sandy, who wants to play football in the English Premiere League becomes Sundy (Mr Hyde kinda guy) when his coach makes a racist remark and refers to him as Indian! Ooh; the simple Samaritan becomes aggressive, contorts his face and goes ballistic, till you almost reach out to the screen and say stop- we can't take this anymore.

Sometime in 2010, three masked men rob a museum in London. They have a face-off with the police and then we are taken to the present-day London. Batuk Patel (Boman Irani) hosts a party at his palatial mansion. When Patel's friend puts forth a marriage proposal from his three sons to Patel's three daughters Ganga (Jacqueline), Yamuna (Lisa) and Saraswati (Nargis), we realise the hitch. Batuk doesn't want his daughters to get married.

Every genre of cinema has its own essence. And, if you are looking for even a bit of sense, then stay away from Akshay Kumar's 'Housefull 3'. I repeat, stay away from this film as it promises to be a paisa vasool entertainer only for those who are ready to leave their brains at home. To be brutally honest, keeping in mind the summer break and vacation time for family audience, the Sajid-Farhad directorial is expected to gain big at the Box Office. Not to forget the performances from all the lead actors.

Like its central premise - three desperate drifters out to marry a trio of wealthy sisters weave their way in and out of trouble - Housefull 3 is painfully hackneyed and sickeningly silly. But for a slapstick comedy that makes no bones about its lowbrow intentions, being trite and stupid is part of the game. It makes mass consumption easy but does nothing to serve the long-term cause of the genre.

Sajid Nadiadwala's Housefull franchise has provided mindless entertainment throughout the years and the recent release Housefull 3 also attempts to do the same. However, though the first two parts were super-successful because of their whacky characters and funny dialogues, Housefull 3 comes across only as funny in parts and overdone in others.

The Housefull franchise returns with the third installment, along with Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Boman Irani and Chunkey Pandey. The new players around this time are Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez (who was there in Housefull 2 as well), Lisa Haydon, Nargis Fakhri and Jackie Shroff. Instead of Sajid Khan, this time the film is directed by Sajid-Farhad, the scenarists who penned the first two films.

Brain : huh? Oh you mean you went and subjected yourself all over again to a bunch of people trying to make fun of the disabled, the coloured.. Let me see, what did I leave out? Community, race, class. .This is a film which gets a fellow to say, 'apna moonh kaala kiya naukrani ke saath' or words to that effect, and the camera cuts to Black uniformed women. Baarf.

Batuk Patel (Boman Irani) has three beautiful daughters, Ganga (Jacqueline Fernandez), Jamuna (Lisa Haydon) and Saraswati (Nargis Fakhri). Their Hindi is awful and the trio are dating Sandy (Akshay Kumar), Teddy (Riteish Deshmukh) and Bunty (Abhishek Bachchan). Batuk does not wish to get the three married due to ulterior motives so he fakes a theory 'He will die if' to stop them. As a solution to this, the guys pretend to be handicapped, Sandy pretends to be a wheel-chair dependent, Teddy fools them into being blind and Bunty pretends to be mute.

It all started off in the year 2010, with Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal, Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta and (late) Jiah Khan all coming together under 'one roof' with the film titled HOUSEFULL, a film that proved to be a goldmine at the box-office. This was followed up by its second instalment titled HOUSEFULL 2, which, again, was a blockbuster at the ticket windows. This time round, the audiences are treated to the third instalment of the film, titled HOUSEFULL 3.
