Plot
My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Shaun of the Dead get together in this delightful comedy frolic about an Indian Punjabi mother taking her fascination with wedding into terrifyingly hilarious territory.
Mrs Sethi, a widow, can't tolerate the consideration of her single daughter being alone and discontented. Okay, she's a little overweight and dogmatic… but she would make a immense wife for some blessed man, if only she were given an opportunity.
When Mrs Sethi can no longer tolerate the offensiveness of families who reject her daughter, she takes the things into her own control with the only technique she knows... unexpectedly a police search starts for a serial killer who cooks a murderer curry.

Its A Wonderful Afterlife is a romantic comedy (dull) directed by Gurinder Chadda, the famous director of Pride and Prejudice. Its casts are Shabana Azmi, Goldy Notay, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Sally Hawkins, Jimi Mistry, Sanjeev Bhaskar Mrs. Sethi (Shabana Azmi), a widow. She is over concerned about her daughter. She doesn't want her daughter to be alone and sad. She wants to get her married off to a suitable family. But her would be in laws are no nice to her daughter. Above all they are rude. Mrs. Sethi gets very annoyed and angry when her daughter's would be in laws reguse to marry her. Now she decides that she will find a suitable boy for her daughter. Thus she takes the charge of her daughter's marriage into her control. But the story has nothing else to say hence a new plot starts.. The plot is of a police officer, who is hunting for a serial murderer. Then again there is murder. Then there come spirits to help Mrs. Sethi out. So, all the ghosts, who earlier did not help Mrs Sethi (when they were alive), come to save her after their death. In the meantime a detective, Murthy (Sendhil Ramamurthy) enters into the scene to investigate the crime and pretends that he has fallen in love with Roopi so that he could get more details of the crime. When you will watch the film you will wonder why this film has been made! The film is neither interesting nor contains any powerful or (moral) message as you get to see in some documentaries. It is neither meant for children nor for adults. So, hardly anyone is going to enjoy the film except the people who are involved with this film's business. It is better to read a children's comic or watch cartoon on children channel than watching this film.
