Sanju leaves Nagpur for Mumbai and lives with Vishwanath, his late mother’s friend. There, he falls for Vishwanath’s daughter, Anu. But when her marriage is arranged elsewhere, Vishwanath is forced to choose between loyalty and a father’s duty.
