Shivani Shivaji Roy (Rani Mukherjee) is a fearless Senior Police Inspector of Mumbai's Crime Branch. She resides in Mumbai with her husband Dr. Bikram Roy (Jisshu Sengupta) and little niece Meera, who is fond of a street hawker girl named Pyaari (Priyanka Sharma).

Suddenly, Pyaari goes missing and clues suggest that she has fallen in the trap of child trafficking. This sets Shivani on a quest to trace her. But as the investigation proceeds it reveals the involvement of a big organization mastered by an early twenties Karan aka Walt (Tahir Raj Bhasin).

Walt is a cruel pimp to kidnaps teenaged girls and strips them into the business of sex trade across the world and Pyaari is one of his victims. His crores earning business is getting interrupted with Shivani's investigation. Therefore, he tries his level best to stop her by bribing her at first which she refuses to accept after which he harms her loved ones but it doesn't suppress her. When none of them are ready to head back, a challenging situation arises where Shivani warns him that she will catch him in 30 days, while Walt notifies her that he will bring her to that state where she herself will kill her.
