PREM MAYEE is a feature film which released on 12th October, 2012. It has been produced by Chirag Bhesania under the banner of Moving Reels. It has been directed by Shekhar S Jha. Its genre is drama/social. Read the review ahead. Story : The story of this movie is about an ambitious girl (Shreya Narayan) who feels lost and depressed. Though she is courageous and intelligent, she herself thinks sometimes as a paheli (puzzle). She loves Arun (Chandrachur Singh) and also gets married to him but post marriage some problems start occurring. Despite getting married she feels self-critical and lonely. She thinks that she was not capable of making Arun happy. Thereafter, Nirvaan (Sanjay Suri) enters into her life who works together in her company. What turn comes in her life is what the remaining part of the movie shows. Performance : Shreya Narayan is in the main role of this film and she had performed well. She has justified her part. Chandrachur Singh is average and also looks heavy. He should lose his weight and look slim fit to get better roles. Sanjay Suri is very good. He impresses you with his performance. Script : The plot is good. But it has been written poorly. Its plot had potential but the writer failed to develop the screenplay to utilize it fully. However its dialogues are good. Music : There are a few songs which appear randomly but they don't have much significance in the film. They don't add anything special to the film. Direction : The director is not clear about what he wants to say. He appears to be confused just like his character Payal. He could not define the characters nor could execute his own story in a well manner. His storyline had potential but he failed to add meaning to his own story. In fact he failed to justify his own story. Conclusion : Due to low star casts and weak direction it is very difficult for this film to survive at the box office. Verdict : A good plot wasted! You can skip it!
