Amrita Singh, Arjun Kapoor to essay mother and son once again in Mubarakan

After playing mother and son in the film 2 States, Amrita Singh and Arjun Kapoor are once again going to essay mother and son in Anees Bazmee's forthcoming flick Mubarakan. Amrita will reportedly play a feisty Punjabi lady in it.

The makers were in search of a powerful and strong persona for playing the mother and they zeroed in on Amrita, said a source. Amrita Singh too liked the script and she gave a nod to this project. She enquired about the shooting schedule and penned on the doted line. Amrita Singh and Arjun Kapoor will be seen together in many scenes in this venture.

The film Mubarakan stars Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ileana D'cruz and Athiya Shetty in the lead roles. It will start rolling in Mumbai in the next month.
