Anil Sharma gives us the first glimpse of Utkarsh Sharma from Genius!

Like several other Indian filmmakers, director Anil Sharma is also not leaving any stones unturned to give his son, Utkarsh Sharma, a big Bollywood debut. Anil, who is known for making action cum patriotic film, is launching his son in his next directorial, Genius. While the film is in the making for quite a long time now, most things are still under wraps. A few days ago, the team of Genius released the poster of the film that featured Utkarsh and now, Anil has given us the glimpse of his son through a video. On the festival of colors, the director uploaded a video on Twitter, where a glimpse of Utkarsh can be seen playing Holi. So far, only an 8-second video is out from the film, the further details are awaited.

Giving out details about the film, the filmmaker said in a statement, “Genius is different from all that I've made before. It's a story of a guy with high IQ. Dil ki Ladaai, Dimaag Se is how I'd sum up the story for now. I'm looking at casting a fresh face opposite him in this movie.”

The movie is a romantic drama which also has a unique twist. It will also mark the debut of the actress, Ishita Chauhan, who will be seen playing the female lead. Genius also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who is reportedly playing a negative role in it.

Apart from the 3 leads, the supporting cast includes Mithun Chakraborty and Ayesha Jhulka and the film is scheduled to release on 24th August 2018.
