Ayushman Khurana actor, now AD

You must have seen Ayushman Khurana in many different roles till date. Ayushman first came on our T.V screens as a reality show contestant, later turned as a VJ for the same channel on which the show was aired and as a host for another T.V reality show. But, Khurana's stars had an make-over and he was signed as an actor in 2012 release ' Vicky Donor ' and there was no looking back for this actor.

Merely, here the waves are turning back for the actor. He was recently spotted on the sets of Shoojit Sircar 's upcoming film ' Madras Cafe ' working as an assistant director. Shoojit was the first to cast Ayushman as an actor for his film. Sircar stated that Ayushman had earlier requested him to let him work as an AD if his debut film gets tanked by any means to which the director agreed. But the film was a success at the box-office and the actor became an overnight star.

Shoojit however kept his promise as asked the actor to assist him for his upcoming John Abraham and Nargis Fakhri starer ' Madras Cafe '. But due to Ayushman's prior work commitments he was not able to join the director. However when the dairy became nil for Ayushman, he flew all the way to Kochi to catch up with the shoot of Viacom 18, JA Entertainment and Rising Sun Films produced ' Madras Cafe '.

Ayushman was quoted saying that he wanted to work for all 40 days of shoot but due to prior commitments he missed that opportunity. However he felt lucky to shoot for 10 days where Sircar was filming a crucial scene between John and Siddhartha Basu and few others. This turned out to be a learning experience for him. It helped him see the actors from a different perspective and that will surely help him grow as an actor.
